Headaches of People

Ah...so here we all are in this game of life. We are the pawns of circumstance. I sometimes wonder if headaches come from "headaches of people." If that even makes any sense whatsoever. Because I have just had to deal with a major headache of a person, and I have had an awful headache for the past two days. That's definately something to ponder over.

Teenage life seems to be something to wonder about. It can be great, as it can also be equally awful (if not more so). They define their lives by social status, rather than by smarts and talent. Completely untalented people can gain popular vote by simply being "hot" or just slutty in my opinion. Who has the right to name the popular and unpopular? I often mull over this question in my mind...day after day after day. I turn the question over in my mind, look at it from every angle. And still I cannot see the answer.

"Why can't you find the answer?" you ask.

I'll tell you...because there simply is NO answer. The whole popularity/ level of hottness isn't all it's cracked up to be. It is plainly a ridiculous standard for the students of the world to live up to. Beauty...and a bubbly personality. Now, I'm not saying that it's a bad thing to have these things...but I don't think they should only be based on those few, straight-jacket criteria.

That's really my shpeal for the the day, so comment, agree/disagree, whatever!

I noticed you stopped writing after 3 blogs...You have so much wisdom for only being 15. You are so talented. I started writing when I was 11 and have continued and its such an outlet and inspiration for me. I too long to become a writer. I just wanted to let you know that you really have talent, and I wish the best of luck to you. Some of my blogs are on www.myspace.com/sunkissedbeauty , if your ever interested.

Thank you so much! I guess I just lost the gusto for awhile. High School can be so demanding, and often times I don't have time to do the things I love. Thanks for the comment! Writing is beautiful!
